THE GENESIS

Born as the great-grandchild to the infamous godfather and great nephew to gatekeeper, ibara's parents caught misfortune and abandoned him at an orphanage. From there, he was moved to the military camp where he met Yuzuru. Upon the death of the godfather, ibara's familial relation was found and he inherited a number of businesses.Spending his middle school years rebuilding each one, he turned them into profitable and well known companies. Even now he seeks further business opportunities at every chance.Seeing that becoming an idol was the best route for his failing agency, Cosmic Production, he sought to collect the strongest idols to create the best unit. He initially decided on recruiting fine's Nagisa and Hiyori. On the day of the subjugation match, he was finally able to approach the two and ask them to join his agency.Seeing as this was fine's first and last performance, he wished to plant the seeds that would grow into the two taking him up on his offer and the creation of Eden. However, they would mainly act as subunits, adam and eve, and only join together as eden when needed to rule the idol world. Jun would be scouted to be the other half of the feminine eve while Nagisa and Ibara focused on the concept of masculinity in Adam.Acting as the producer and overseeing most aspects and administrative duties of Eden, Ibara works painstakingly hard to curate their images and reach. This has caused a number of fights, but he seems to come around in the end.now in his final year of high school, ibara is busy with running his many companies with some idol gigs on the side. he works closely with eichi, tsumugi, and the other agencies in es. he has eyes and ears everywhere.his current struggle is fighting against the gfk and his great uncle, gatekeeper.

warning: long read. canon information will be bolded to denote between headcanons and canon.ibara has trust and abandonment issues which he tries to mask with his upbeat personality or confidence, arrogance, and narcissism. he is very quiet and secretive about his struggles with mental health and denies them vehemently. he's been trying to work on them in secret.doesn't drop as many bible verses as nagisa does, but finds himself using more with the more time they spend together. he can recite the bible cover to cover and knows verses just by the mention of them (genesis 1:1).ibara gives very lavish gifts.takes his affiliation with shuuetsu and reimei very seriously. won't let anyone cut corners to get in the schools.shuuetsu and reimei are very strict about their dress codes and do not allow modifications of any kind to their uniform (cardigans, sweaters, pins, different colored ties). even a stain or wrinkle can get you in trouble with the administration staff. their uniforms are dry clean only and non special students handle the dry cleaning arrangements for the special students. it annoys ibara when he sees anyone in eden have their uniform be anything but perfect. he would constantly adjust nagisa's tie to be proper, but nagisa would always end up loosening it. ibara says no one will take eden seriously if they don't dress their part as the top of cospro's schools.still try to erase that photo of him crossdressing from the world (bogie time). mentioning it is the quickest way to piss him off.finds heels comfy.always has the latest in tech. pulls out his iphone 143x pro max plus.hates emojis. he never texts with them and hates everyone who does. hiyori has taken a liking to text him exclusively in emojis which nagisa enjoys decoding. doesn't use text talk either. people describe his texts as very formal essays.has a secretary/assistant, ann-chan. she's sweeter than sugar and not evil. he leaves other menial tasks and basically everything that doesn't have to do with adam, eve, or eden with her. She has been injected with Ibara’s poison and feels indebted to him.the guy that tells you he owns a gun, has a gun license, knows how to use a gun, and will show you his gun. he keeps it in the desk in his office. the drawer requires a key. says it's for security purposes.If you’re in CosPro, you’re at the bane of his match fixing.Secret fan of soap operas or just those fabricated drama shows. Tried to get Nagisa into soap operas by saying it’ll show him a grander picture of how the world works.Writes the longest contracts. The Eden one is insane.Adam has their own Switch that they play animal crossing on! ibara loves the stalk market and runs his own business in it. nagisa loves the fossils and museum.Not a picky eater. Lived off of war rations, but recognizes good food due to his treatment at Shuuetsu. Doesn’t like Nagisa eating low quality food so Ibara avoids taking Nagisa to inexpensive restaurants and Ibara only cooks meals for Nagisa with high quality ingredients.Will pretend to not know other idol’s names and groups to purposely infuriate them and because he doesn’t see them as a threat. Has an extensive collection of idol dvds and buys every one he can get his hands on.Since he can’t keep costumes in Adam’s personal parlor, they’re usually kept over at CosPro. Only small and inexpensive things stay in the parlor, but Ibara would still find out if anyone tried to steal his things.the 18th floor of es is for cospro and has a rather open floor plan, but ibara does have his own private office on the floor that he decorated to fit eden's image and aesthetic. most say it looks like the throne room of a slimy tyrant.ibara will protect his masculinity until the day he dies, but is warm and receptive to other members of eden embracing feminity. ibara will mostly only wear makeup and jewelry on stage, but is warming up to them in casual wear. he always wears the pair of purple rose earrings that match with the red ones he gave to nagisa as well as the silver promise ring with cerulean gems that nagisa gave him on his left hand. In addition, he always wears the watch and outercoat Hiyori gifted him for Christmas.is rarely at the es dorms and prefers to sleep in cospro private housing. has a pretty nice pad for being the vp, but he keeps this home a secret. however, it's pretty normal to find him passed out at his desk in CosPro from working himself so hard. He also inherited the Godfather's mansion that Nagisa lived in growing up and will stay there when in the area as Shuuetsu is so far away.curls his eyelashes and wears waterproof mascara and undereye concealer. takes good care of his eyelashes and they're a prominent feature on him. Full and fluffy. Massive undereye bags from stress and exhaustion.ibara is very knowledgeable about the current happenings of the world as well things that pertain to him like business, war, strategy, technology, and music. Ibara asks Nagisa about random trivia and for information if they're together before he turns to researching it himself or having his staff look into it.Ibara always keep in his pockets his phone, a random assortment of rocks for Nagisa, bandages, sweets for 2wink, and his wallet though he usually uses his phone to pay.adam is banned from talking when eden watches movies as adam likes to talk throughout the movie.if ibara is making tea, he always picks apple or pomegranate due to the biblical afflation.hates public transportation and avoids it all costs.
